C2TE S2 · BS EN 12004

An improved, highly deformable cementitious adhesive with transverse deformation ≥ 5 mm. Its S2 deformability absorbs substrate movement and thermal stress — for large-format tiles and heavy marble, facades, swimming pools, heated screeds and tile-on-tile work.

What C2TE S2 means

C2 — Improved cementitious adhesive: tensile adhesion ≥ 1.0 N/mm² in all four conditioning regimes.
T — Reduced slip: vertical slip ≤ 0.5 mm, so tiles do not sag on walls.
E — Extended open time: the adhesive still achieves ≥ 0.5 N/mm² when tiles are placed after 30 minutes, instead of the standard 20.
S2 — Highly deformable: transverse deformation ≥ 5 mm — the higher the class, the more substrate movement the adhesive absorbs.
